As a Professor of Learning Technologies in the Department of Educational Studies at The Ohio State University, Dr. Correia teaches mainly graduate-level courses in learning design, innovation, and program evaluation/assessment in online and hybrid delivery formats. In all her courses, she strives to create (1) authentic learning experiences by establishing real-world projects and (2) well-designed learning experiences conducive to deep learning.

Dr. Correia was the Faculty Co-Coordinator for The Ohio State University’s Masters of Learning Technologies until September 2021. The Masters of Learning Technologies is an exclusive online degree focused on applying current research to solving problems of practice facing the use of technology to support learning in face-to-face, online, and blended contexts. This year, this program reached No. 8 in the U.S. News and World Report online graduate education programs list in the Educational and Instructional Media Design specialty category.

Part of what distinguishes online programs at The Ohio State University is the faculty that teaches and manages the programs. Ohio State Online features instructors who teach their online courses and are also teaching in classrooms across campus.
